Summary
Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assist in the assembly and fabrication of custom cabinets and furniture.Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, sanders, and drills.Keeps area neat and clean.Read and use a tape measureRead blue prints and ordersCommunicate well with coworkersCompetencies
General woodworking skills preferredMust have a strong work ethicMust have the ability to work quickly and methodicallyMust understand safety proceduresMust have good teamwork skillsMust live the Champion Operating PrinciplesQualifications
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
