How You'll Make An Impact:
You work on a team building and maintaining the custom software which runs Little Caesars. Whether remote or on site, you will be part of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle including technical design, development, testing and support. Focus on building expertise in one area of software development technology. This position will operate with specific guidance from more experienced levels of Engineers. This position may support LCE or other Ilitch companies.Participate in the design, development, and support of technical projects through to completion according to project and corporate standards and methodologies.Complete software development tasks such as small changes or enhancements to existing systems with specific guidance and mentoring from more senior developers.Translate user stories into clear code.Craft code which is free of obvious or glaring errorsAnalyze, navigate, and understand functions and classes/modules written by others.Participate in all aspects of agile software development including sprint-planning, story review and demos.Regularly pair with more senior developers while completing development assignments.Support Quality Assurance (QA) in the development of integration test plans, test conditions, and expected test results.Collaborate with Product Owners to understand tasks and user stories.Resolve system issues and respond to suggestions for improvements.Provide support for production applications including on-call afterhours support on a rotational basis. Develop and maintain support documentation.Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal education.Programming experience in a professional or school environment or relevant business experience.Relationship building skills and ability to collaborate with other IT staff and business units.Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills.Evidence of a self-motivated, curious, and creative approach to technology with a passionate embrace of technology.What Will Make You Stand Out:
Understanding of a formal Software Development Life Cycle using agile processes.Three (3) years of experience in any of the following technologies:BizTalk ServerXML Technologies - XSLT and XPathCoding custom pipelinesDevelopment of custom mapsBizTalk Server Administration troubleshootingOrchestration design and developmentDesign and development of custom functoidsDesign and development with flat files schemasUnderstanding of TSQL (stored procedures and queries)Webservices REST or SOAPDEVOPS deployment pipelines and releasesDeployment Framework for BizTalkC# / .Net CoreData storage technologies including RDMSs, No-SQL databases and unstructured storageREST APIsAzure cloud platform or equivalents such as AWS or GCPUnderstanding of source control technologies such as GITWorking Conditions:
This position may require on-call responsibilities requiring work during nights, weekends, or holidays.Works in a normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, noise, dust and the like.Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers.Some travel including travel to restaurant locations and trade shows. This position requires the ability to adhere to the LCE Travel policy.
