Converting Machine Operator - 2nd Shift ( 2 PM - 10:30 PM)

Machine Operator Position Summary:This position is responsible for operating a machine to ensure efficient operation of equipment and production of high-quality products.Second Shift: 2:00 pm -10:30 pmKey Responsibilities:Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practicesPerform general set-up of machinesPrepare materials for production processLoad and unload material from machineAssist in monitoring operation of machineTrack and label finished products manually and electronicallyCommunicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issuesSet priorities to match the importance of job assignmentsParticipate in continuous improvement projects and teamsPhysical Requirements:Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs., Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending, squatting, and varying temperaturesEducation:Minimum High School diploma or GEDExperience:Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.This role requires basic computer proficiencies, multi-task effectively, sharp attention to detail, a desire to work in a collaborative team atmosphere, and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.Other:Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
