We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our veterinary staff to ensure that clients and their pets receive top-quality care. Your responsibilities will include registering clients and patients, booking appointments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting during exams and procedures. You will also observe patients' behavior and conditions, help set up laboratory tests, and manage patient medical records.
Additional duties involve general patient care, such as feeding, walking, and obtaining vital signs, as well as maintaining a clean and organized facility. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, preparing cleaning solutions, and disinfecting equipment and spaces.
Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED is required, along with experience in customer service and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include a vocational diploma in Veterinary Technician Assistance and basic restraint experience with dogs and cats.Candidates must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, work with various animal species, and perform physical tasks related to patient care. Pay:
$25-34/hour DOE
