The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Vice President - Hospitality Investments and is responsible for analytical support of portfolio management and asset management. The Senior Financial Analyst may also assist in the evaluation of potential property acquisitions and dispositions, including analysis, due diligence and closing, as well as financings. The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities are outlined below.

Responsible for supporting asset management of hotel investments including analysis of performance metrics, retrieving relevant data from internal and external sources, and communicating information to hotel managers, Asset Managers, Portfolio Management and other firm stakeholders; Responsible for assisting in the development of property strategies, and in the measurement of and improvement upon property and organizational performance issues; Preparation of property and local market aspects of the quarterly and annual property reports, as well as for assigned elements of the annual property business plan; Supports the reviews of operations and capital expenditures as compared to budgets, forecasts and/or prior year; Supports hotel team as part of the acquisition due diligence process or during the annual business planning cycle, in evaluating relevant operations and capital program strategies; Supports Portfolio Management and Asset Management in providing analyses and data related to financings and refinancings; Assists in the approval process for capital expenditures within property business plan parameters; Ensures hotel managers deliver accurate and timely monthly reports; Evaluates the performance of hotel management companies, and specific hotel managers; Conducts quarterly internal valuations and supports third-party appraisal process, including the review of such appraisals; Prepares hold/sell analyses; Supports client, Investment Committee and portfolio management presentations. Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Business. Experience: 2+ years' experience in real estate or business-related activities with hotel experience preferred. Strong Excel software proficiency and knowledge required; ability to complete detailed analyses and to make well-reasoned and decisive recommendations required.
