The Role:

We are looking to hire an individual with or without sewing experience to join our Production Finishing Department in a full-time capacity. Production Stitchers will work with the team to convert textile yardage from the mill into finished blankets, throws, and other products.

Core Responsibilities:

Must have an eye for detail and the ability to meet production goalsAble to learn to operate an industrial sewing machineBe motivated to help our team reach their daily goalsStitchers must be able to follow measurements for finished products and be willing to help out in other areas like cutting, folding, and packaging as neededRequired skills:

Learn to sew on industrial machines, especially the straight stitch/single needle and sergerBasic knowledge of machine threading and tensioningBasic fabric knowledge and ability to follow and meet production construction requirementsPositive attitude and ability to work well alone and with a teamAbility to lift at least 50lbs and sit or stand for long periods of timeAbility to work independently, but within a team conceptBe able to sit for long periods with stretching as necessary
