We have an Exited career opportunity for a Tool and Die Maker to join a leading Company located in Fort Worth, TX area.We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our aluminum foundry team. In this role, you will design, fabricate, and maintain specialized dies, molds, and tools used in the aluminum casting process. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of foundries & casting and strong machining skills. This is a critical position responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, with high-quality output.Job Responsibilities: Design, build, modify, and maintain dies, molds, and tools. Operate machine tools, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grinders, to shape and finish dies and molds. Collaborate with the production team to design and optimize tooling. Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify tooling accuracy and adherence to design specifications. Troubleshoot and repair worn or damaged dies and molds to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production. Maintain and repair foundry. Read and interpret complex technical drawings, CAD designs, and blueprints. Work with foundry operators to ensure proper gating and risering systems for aluminum flow and casting integrity. Recommend improvements or modifications to existing tools and processes to reduce cycle times and improve product quality. Maintain accurate records of tool designs, modifications, repairs, and inventory. Adhere to safety standards and foundry regulations.Basic Hiring Criteria:High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an apprenticeship or technical program in Tool & Die Making is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker, preferably in an aluminum foundry environment. Proficiency in operating both manual and CNC machining equipment. Strong knowledge of aluminum casting techniques and processes are a plus. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models specific to aluminum foundry tooling.
