Overview:

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will have the opportunity to lead audit engagements globally and take charge of audit execution. Your main responsibilities will be coordinating fieldwork, assessing risks, and testing the internal control environment using a risk-based audit methodology. This is hybrid role based in Boston.

What you will do:Plan, schedule, and supervise internal audit assignments, with a focus on risk-based auditing, across multiple affiliatesDevelop comprehensive risk and control testing plans and identify key controls required for testingServe as the primary point-of-contact in affiliate meetings and lead day-to-day communicationAllocate responsibilities to staff auditors, ensuring effective team managementTravel up to 20% to non-Boston-based affiliates, including international locationsReview team members' work for accuracy and compliance with audit standardsIssue draft internal audit reports and follow up on the implementation of action plansCoordinate multiple audits in parallel, at different stages of completionTeam Management:

Support team and provide feedback to members in resolving issues identified during engagementsIdentify potential gaps in the team's knowledge and implement strategies to fill themCommunicate innovative ideas to improve work within the Internal Audit Department, including software, reporting, and various tools and proceduresWhat you will bring:

Understanding of the asset management industry, financial products, risk management and compliance practicesIn-depth understanding of auditing and control practicesOutstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with senior managementIntegrity and reliability and strict attention to detailProficiency in manipulating and analyzing dataA master's degree and professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFA, CISA) are considered advantageous.Proficiency in French would be an additional asset
