Senior Financial Analyst

Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Team on multiple financial initiatives, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, market-specific business driver analyses, and other various projects. The role will be diverse, challenging, and offer opportunities for autonomy and growth. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance and will have regular exposure to the VP and CFO, functional leaders, and our operating centers.Responsibilities:Directly support the MedQuest Finance team with complex ad-hoc and recurring analyses, including month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, operational KPI refinement, and companys growth planDevelop a deep understanding of business drivers, provide financial data, and develop insights to MedQuest executives, Regional VPs, center managers, and marketingDirectly oversee multiple recurring workstreams (e.g., support for month end close, KPI refinement), and one-time projectsServe as a business partner to center managers and corporate department leads in understanding and projecting their financialsRegularly go beyond the initial scope of projects to identify and execute on additional opportunities for improvement or insightPrepare standard monthly and non-standard internal and Board-level reporting materialsBuild models and other tools to automate or semi-automate business processes and reporting based on specific needs of the finance team and other department leaders

Qualifications:Experience:3+ years of progressive financial planning, analysis, and modeling, ideally in FP&A or Accounting at a growth-oriented companyBachelors degree in business, Finance, Accounting or Economics or, equivalent experience requiredExperience with an accounting, investment banking or private equity firm preferred, but not requiredPrevious experience with healthcare is preferred, but not requiredCore Competencies:Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standardsAbility to think strategically at both an enterprise level and at a granular level, often leveraging the details to derive strategic insightsHigh proficiency with financial reporting and planning toolsHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel & PowerPoint; NetSuite experience preferredStrong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)Highly organized and strong attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated track record of significant accomplishments, taking the initiative in engaging with cross functional teams to solve problemsTeam player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and influence relationships throughout all levels of the organizationAbility to be creative and innovative in a fast-paced environment
