Accounting Manager

to our

Business Processing Outsourcing Department (BPO).

Experience with QuickBooks is required. German language skills are helpful but not required. We are looking for the right individual with strong organizational and management skills, the ability to work within deadlines, and to execute multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure a high level of professional standards. This position requires a positive, self-motivated individual with superior organizational skills, and the ability to work within deadlines and execute multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure a high level of professional standardsTake responsibility for clients assigned to you, including providing consultation to the client and its parent company on their accounting and business administration needsCoach and mentor staff membersPreparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)Preparation of various sales and use tax returns as well as personal property tax returns and other various formsPayroll processingTake ownership of the engagement, anticipating the issues and developing a plan to complete the engagement within budgetResearch technical issues and discuss with the Manager/Partner for further guidancePerforms other related duties as requiredDesired Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience and communication with clients, preferably public accounting or related experienceAbility to manage a team of 2-3 associates, including oversight, supervision, and reviewExperience using QuickBooks accounting software is requiredExperience working in a multi-entity environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-taskMust work independently within an established administrative frameworkStrong knowledge of US-GAAPBasic knowledge of the US tax systemAccounting software experience in NetSuite and Zero is a plusProven expertise in MS Word and MS Outlook with a working knowledge of MS Excel, and Adobe software applicationsDemonstrate high-level client-service orientation, ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with maximum discretion and understanding of client's needsAbility to understand challenges facing partners and staff members and be able to manage/reschedule priorities effectivelyDetailed oriented with the ability to organize processes and diligently follow throughAbility to exercise good judgment/decision-making when necessary, anticipate problems and act accordingly, and manage time efficientlyStrong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skillsGerman language skills are preferred but not requiredBenefits :
