Insight Global is hiring for an Asset Analyst to support their Energy client in uptown. The ideal candidate will have prior finance/full-cycle accounting experience and will be supporting a renewable energy plant to help maximize their financial performance. Responsibilities will range from: full-cycle accounting, monthly reconciliations, cash distribution, regulatory oversight, tax equity application, and more. This role is very interactive with both internal executive leadership and external parties so strong communication skills and soft skills are important. This person will be working within Excel daily for all reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting, experience with advanced charts, graphs, pivot tables, and excel functions will be essential. This role will be fully on- site in the Galleria area in Houston with working hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday- Friday.

Required Skills & Experience-3+ years of experience in finance or accounting-A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent-Experience facilitating month-end, manual journal entries, reconciliations, cash distributions, and more-Experience overseeing regulatory standards (NERC/ERCOT) and tax requirements-Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel - (advanced graphs/line charts etc)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience-Industry experience supporting Plant/Production accounting (preferably renewable energy)
