Printpack is seeking qualified candidates to fill Press Operator positions for our Elgin, IL plant. Available shifts are 2nd Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Mon-Fri) and 3rd Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sun-Thu).
Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.
Essential Job Functions include:
Set up and operate rotogravure printing pressMonitor equipment and the production process to ensure qualityDemonstrate solid working knowledge of the raw materials and film usedDemonstrate effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goalsDemonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods and good housekeeping standardsEnter/retrieve data into computerMonitor inks and adhesivesMinimum Requirements:
Prior experience running a Rotogravure press or Flexo press requiredPrior manufacturing experience requiredRequires standing for long periodsRequires lifting of 50 lbsBasic computer skills
