GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Stagehand at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre. This position will assist the Operations department in the area of production with event related calls (take in, show, load out, work) while ensuring the production needs are met for the venue, client and patrons.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist during Work Calls for the venue Requisition ConversionsAssist during Load-In, Show, and Load-Out Calls for the assembly and disassembly of show productions.Loading and unloading trucksAssembling production equipment on stageConstruction of set pieces, risers, musical equipmentSpotlight operation during shows for qualified personnelAssist with video, sound and light production before, during and after shows for qualified personnelMove furniture, road cases, miscellaneous equipmentMaintain a safe and professional work environment at all timesEnsure proper handling and storage of all equipment, from both venue and eventsBe punctual at start times/dates for all assigned and accepted calls; and work until the completion of each callStand ready to assist the venue Production and Operations departments to meet changing venue needsOther duties as assigned by Management

Detail-orientated with excellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to operate industry related equipment
Demonstrated knowledge of industry terms and the ability to operate sound, lighting, audio-visual and other industry related equipment is a plus
Ability to work with limited supervision, prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while exercising judgment and initiative in addressing and completing assigned tasks
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED requiredExperience with production for live events preferredMaintain a professional presentation, appearance, and work ethicWork effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results and meet deadlinesUnderstand and be capable of insuring that all policies and procedures are followedDetail oriented
COMPUTER SKILLS:Experience in Windows and MS Office Suite preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Possess any licenses, certificates or training required by local, state, or national authorities for job related duties
