Position Summary
TD International - the strategic advisory and risk intelligence firm - is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to join our team. As we invest in our TDI Diligence Suite Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, the VP will play a crucial and strategic role in implementing and driving a sales strategy, selling to senior level prospective clients, and leading a sales team. Your contributions in this role will significantly impact our growth and success.
We're looking for a dynamic and professional candidate to grow sales and build a team. TDI offers solutions and services to address our client's most complex problems, providing the successful candidate the opportunity to problem-solve with senior management and executives for clients across multiple industries. The successful candidate will be a thought leader, attending and presenting at industry conferences, writing white papers, blog posts, etc.
Reporting directly to the President of TDI, the VP will be a key player in our cross-industry offerings. While this role is pivotal in operating across various industries, a significant focus is the life science manufacturing market (pharma, biotech, and device). We are particularly interested in candidates with experience selling to risk and compliance leaders.
While the focus is SaaS sales, TDI also has a growing due diligence and investigations business. Candidates with experience selling services will be preferred, but not required.
Ability to travel to client sites throughout North America as needed, up to 50% of the time. Occasional travel outside North America may also be required.
TDI is headquartered in Washington, DC, and candidates in this location are highly desired. Other locations will be considered based on the candidate.
Primary Responsibilities Gain a comprehensive understanding of TDI's products and services. Craft and implement a sales strategy with senior management for existing and potential new clients. Manage current sales resources to ensure optimal performance. Hire, train, and mentor sales team members. Conduct product demonstrations and informational presentations. Establish and maintain positive and productive client relationships. Meet or exceed revenue targets. Manage all aspects of the sales process, including pre-sales strategy, target identification, meetings, pricing solutions, proposal writing, follow-ups, and closing deals. Focus on client satisfaction and act on client feedback. Innovate and adapt strategies in a fast-paced environment. Present effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Over 12 years in a SaaS sales management role. Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Demonstrated track record of managing a sales process, growing accounts, and maintaining positive client relationships. Experience executing sales strategies aligned with company goals. Deep understanding of market trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the SaaS industry. Financial metrics and budget management expertise. Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools. Proven experience in hiring, training, and mentoring a sales team. Expertise in client demonstrations and presentations. Strong focus on client satisfaction and responsiveness to feedback. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations. Strong business acumen and leadership abilities. Compensation: $200,000 - $350,000
