Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reportsReconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end closePrepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principlesPrepare documentation in support of external and internal auditsPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretationAnalyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial positionAssist with the monthly quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groupsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Currently in final year of obtaining a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting from an accredited college/university, or recently graduated within 2 years of obtaining a bachelor's degreeMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be consideredPreferred Qualifications:
3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Coursework to obtain degree must be completed prior to start of employment. Degree must be awarded and verified within 6-8 weeks following the commencement date at your schoolIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, etc.)Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potentialDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated presentation skills
