Our practice partners with North American Dental Group which provides us with the necessary support in order to fulfill our purpose of ensuring excellent patient care.Hours of Operation (Potential to work until 7pm some days/40 hour work week)Monday: 8am-5pmTuesday: 8am-5pmWednesday: 8am-5pmThursday: 8am-5pmFriday: 8am-3pmResponsibilities:Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.Skills Required to Make a Great Impression on Our TeamProvides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
