located in

What You Will Do:Develop and transfer phase 0 -1 chemistry and formulation concepts
Collaborate with anchor and divisional research scientists/RDE leaders on new development projects and platforms
Actively engage in development of new platforms that meet strategic business needs
Interpret experimental data and communicate results clearly to peers and project teams in written reports and oral presentations
Provide consulting on experimental design, mentoring, and work direction for junior lab scientists
Maintain employee safety standards, including 5S lab standards
Laboratory evaluations may consist of working with substances such as hydrogen sulfide which requires special handling and training
Perform technical assessments for new and/or existing product applications and providing solutions.
Developing new products from existing raw materials or new synthesis developments
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, OR an advanced degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in industry communicating daily with internal and external customers
Experience with utilizing and logging samples into a laboratory information management system (LIMS) or other sample/data tracking platform such as SAP
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
The candidate should be outgoing, creative, a self-starter, and team orientated
