ICU RN- Night Shifts

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 3 years in critical care setting License: Valid State RN license required Certifications: BLS/ACLS certification required Must-Have: - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in high-stress situations- Responsible, supportive team player- Competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, and care for a patient in restraint or seclusion Job Description: - Provide specialty care for critically ill patients and intermediate care unit patients.- Manage the nursing process from admission through transfer or discharge.- Skillfully perform cardiac monitoring, operate mechanical ventilation, manage arterial lines, and administer critical drips.- Utilize remote monitoring support for critical care patients, with intensivist presence during the day.- Participate in a shared governance model for decision-making.Additional Information:- Candidates with licensure issues will not be considered.- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.- Holiday coverage is required.
