Broadwell Hospitality Group is recruiting for Lifeguards for our Splash Indoor Water Park

The

Lifeguard will be an integral member of the aquatics leadership team.

Under the direction and supervision of the Aquatics Manager, the lifeguard will be responsible for the coordination of daily aquatics operations, guest service, and safety standards.

Pay Rate : $16 per hour

Essential Responsibilities and Function:Assumes responsibility for zone of coverage while lifeguarding.Maintains a general knowledge of the entire waterpark operation including all rules and regulations regarding the safe use of the attractions within the waterpark.Reports all incidents, safety concerns or guest issues to Aquatics Leadership Team readily, and through the appropriate channels to ensure maximum guest safety as top priority.Well informed and confident in ability to appropriately handle missing child alert.Has complete understanding of all emergency plans, safety and operating procedures/standards-especially with regard to handling guests and maintaining service in the event that an emergency or other issue arises.Maintains cleanliness of the waterpark including all front and back of the house areas. This includes: entire pool deck, offices, restrooms, locker area, and any other area identified by leadership upon hire.Willingness to accept the most effective roleJob specific position requirements

Keep certifications current through monthly in-service trainings as required. (4 hours per month)Attend all mandatory meetings and in-service training as scheduled.Must maintain all Jeff Ellis and Associates screening requirements to be eligible for testing.Must pass the Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard course prior to working as a lifeguard.Must pass the Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Instructor Course prior to leading an instructor course.Job and Work Requirements:

Availability to work on all shifts, during the normal operating hours of the waterpark. Must be available to work as needed on an "on-call" basis when requested.Availability must include weekends and holidays with minimal requests for extended periods of time off (any prior commitments must be addressed before start date)Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push and pull while performing job tasks. Must be able to lift 50lbs or greater.Ability to swim a minimum of 50 yards, non-stop, using breaststroke or crawl methods.Retrieve a 10 lbs. brick form the deepest body of waterExit out of a pool edge without use of a ladder
