This role is ideal for an experienced project manager with a robust technical background in private networks and wireless hardware products, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and has a passion for driving product development and delivery excellence.

Senior Project Manager for Network Applications

development program will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of products, from inception through feasibility, development, and production, including integration with SAP systems. The ideal candidate will possess good technical expertise in private network systems, wireless-enabled hardware products development, and product industrialization. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Line Management (PLM), Research & Development (R&D), and Supply Chain teams, to ensure products meet strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role will require the candidate to quickly adopt and apply the company's life cycle management system to network applications and products program.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex product requirements in networking, wireless technologies, and industrialization.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration between product, engineering, and operations.Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding proactive solutions to project challenges.Proficiency in project management software and tools, and experience with SAP and similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Ability to work in a global environment and manage cross-border teams and stakeholders.Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management:Lead the creation and execution of project plans from the inception stage through to production, ensuring that deliverables align with strategic product objectives.Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring all phases from feasibility studies, architecture planning, R&D development, and industrialization are completed efficiently.Ensure that projects are transitioned smoothly into SAP ordering systems and other enterprise processes.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with Product Line Management (PLM) to align project goals and timelines with the overall product strategy.Collaborate with R&D architecture and development teams during the feasibility and development stages to ensure technical feasibility and successful execution.Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure product readiness for industrialization and market launch.Life Cycle Management:Expedite the adoption and application of the company's life cycle management system to Network Applications product line, ensuring that all projects follow the company's established processes.Drive continuous improvement within the project lifecycle, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and streamline product development.Technical Leadership:Provide technical oversight and ensure understanding of private network systems, wireless-enabled hardware products, and their industrialization.Lead cross-functional discussions to ensure that technical requirements are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.Risk & Issue Management:Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure issues are resolved promptly to keep projects on track.Ensure that all risks related to product development, production, and implementation are properly documented and addressed.Reporting & Communication:Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders, including executive leadership, PLM, R&D, and supply chain teams.Establish clear communication channels and facilitate effective collaboration across all departments.>

Qualifications

8+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on product development and delivery, preferably within telecommunications sectors.Proven experience in creating and managing project plans from inception to production, working closely with PLM, R&D, and supply chain.Hands-on experience with private network systems, wireless-enabled hardware development, and the industrialization of these products.In-depth knowledge of life cycle management systems and demonstrated ability to quickly adopt and implement such systems in new product lines.Strong understanding of feasibility studies, R&D architecture, and development processes.Proven track record of successfully integrating product development workflows into SAP ordering systems or similar enterprise systems.PMP certification or other relevant project management qualifications is desired but not mandatory.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

$130,000 - $190,000 a year

The US national annual base salary range for this is $130,000 - $190,000. The range includes base salary that is expected to be paid for this role. Actual base salary will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the scope and complexity of the role, the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, peer and market data and geographic location. This role will also include a bonus plan.
