The Lee Group has the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for Welders that specialize in MIG to fill roles at a Virginia Beach manufacturing company. The successful candidate for this Welder position will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Responsibilities of a Welder:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirementsPerform various types of welding, including MIG and Fluxcore weldingOperate welding equipment safely and effectivelyInspect welds for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessaryMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to safety protocols and procedures at all timesRequirements of a Welder: High School Diploma/GEDAbility to pass Background Check and Drug Screen Personal Reliable Transportation Must have your own welding equipment. Steel toed shoes required.1+ years of experience as a welder.Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layoutsWeld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.The Lee Group is driven by our purpose and passion - Aligning talent, Growing Businesses and Changing Lives!
