A prop trading firm in Chicago is looking to hire a quant researcher to their expanding team. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and enhance their automated trading systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quantitative research to verify and enhance innovations and improvements in trading modelsWork closely with portfolio managers and software developers on research and implementation of modelsDevelop new ideas to improve current trading strategies and algorithms and create new ones.Qualifications:
3+ years of experience of programming Python and SQL.Experience applying advanced statistical methods to large datasetsGraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, math, science)Experience in developing models for automated trading systems
This role is located in located in Downtown Chicago and is hybrid (3 days a week in office required).
