Responsibilities:
We are seeking a
Master Machinist/Journeyman
at our Columbia PA Manufacturing Facility
Tool and die blueprint readingMechanical knowledgeFabrication/weldingFamiliar with Injection MoldingManufacturing repairTooling repairPrecision measuring instrumentRepairing moldsOperating grinding and milling machinesTear down, clean, assemble after fix, clean, polishGrind, mill latheVisualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerancesDesigning jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of partsMeasuring and marking metal stock for machiningSetting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machinesFiling, grinding, shimming metals to ensure a smooth finishFitting and assembling tools and mold partsInspecting finished dies and molds for defects, smoothness, and contour deformitiesAll other duties/tasks as assignedQualifications:
Required:
General Machine KnowledgeAutoCad or Solidworks ExperienceMajority of time is spent standing and repetitive use of both handsWorking in a factory environment - heat, dust, etcBenefits Compensation:
Starting rate pay

Senior Machinist at ASC - Columbia Plant, you will have the opportunity to work with your hands. You may be responsible for reading blueprints, fabrication/welding, tooling repair, designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.
