Job Title: Elevator Operator
Job Description
Grain receiving, grading, cleaning, and transfer as well as elevator maintenance duties and sanitation. Staging grain to be used in the mill. Completing maintenance and sanitation between loads. Operating the computerized system used to track bin fill level. Scaling incoming trucks and completing appropriate documents. Loading trucks with finished product to appropriate weight. This is a fully on-site position in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.Work Environment
It is a grain elevator, so it can be dirty, dusty, and subject to the elements. Working hours are generally from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with receiving hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Employees need to arrive slightly before and stay after the last load is done and cleaned up. The dress code includes long pants and steel-toed boots. Generally, you will be working with 2-3 others at a time.
