We are looking for an

SEC

Reporting Manager

to lead the SEC reporting process and support technical accounting matters. The SEC Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, while ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and US GAAP. This role involves working closely with various departments, including accounting, legal, and investor relations, to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. The SEC Reporting Manager plays a critical role in the financial reporting process and contributes to the development of financial statements and related disclosures.

SEC Reporting Manager

You will drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and report quality, taking into account the changes in our business, while having significant interaction and communication with other departments and senior leadership within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K in compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. Responsibilities include the preparation of the financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and supporting tie-out documentation.Prepare the monthly and quarterly statement of cash flows for both internal and external reporting purposes.Prepare calculations and other necessary schedules associated with areas such as earnings per share and financial statement analytics.Manage the quarterly reporting process to align with internal and external reporting deadlines.Ensure compliance with the accounting disclosure checklists for completeness of the financial statements.Assist in monthly close tasks, including equity accounting, journal entries and reconciliations.Assist with requests from external auditors related to quarterly reviews and the annual audit.Assist with the preparation and review of investor communications including the quarterly earnings release documents, tables and related materials.Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and collaborate with the internal audit team to address any identified deficiencies.Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to refine and streamline the financial reporting process.Assist in technical accounting research including the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards and any accounting matters that arise in the normal course of business. Support the implementation of any necessary changes to the reporting process.Support ad-hoc requests for analyses and information.Skills and experience needed to make you successful in this role:

Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required.At least five years of progressive experience, including public accounting and SEC Registrant reporting experience.Experience preparing and/or reviewing financial statements and related footnote disclosures.Strong SEC and US GAAP technical accounting knowledge and research skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in preparing and reviewing financial reports.Must be detail-oriented, have a proactive approach and a desire to lead change and process improvements.Exceptionally organized and strong at execution, including follow up on open items.Strong verbal and written communication.Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Works well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while managing multiple priorities and leveraging key skillsets such as critical thinking, data analysis and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, strong work ethic and able to work independently with minimal supervision or in a team environment.Professional maturity with high standards for integrity and accuracy.Preferred:

Big 4 public accounting experienceExperience with Workiva Wdesk or other SEC Reporting platformsNetSuite and OneStream experience a plus

Compensation:

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is

$100,000 - $120,000 USD Per Year

with an annual company defined bonus structure.
