HSF Affiliates LLC, the parent company of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team.Our business is providing tools and services for use by our networks of independently owned and operated franchise real estate brokerages.We are a subsidiary of HomeServices of America and an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.

Summary

Provide essential Financial Analytical duties, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysis in support of business activities among various departments.This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Collaborates with business partners to assist in preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budget.Provides assistance in preparation of multi-year long-term strategic planning.Prepares various internal and corporate management reports to support the analysis of forecasted and actual results.Acts as liaison between Finance and the business areas.Supports monthly close activities while working with the accounting team - including researching and preparing variance analyses for revenue, expense, and balance sheet.Work on ad-hoc requests from management, as needed.Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years' financial analysis experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field preferred.Experience with variance analysis, forecast and budget preparation, or related experience.Must be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees within the organization and collaborate with cross -functional teams.Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.Ability to look at the details while focusing on the big picture.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Must have an understanding of general accounting concepts including accruals, prepaids, capital and work-in-process.Familiarity with general ledger account and cost center structures.Advanced Excel skillsExperience with web-based financial systems required. Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Business Intelligence, and Essbase desirable.

Wage: $85,000 - $95,000 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
