Job Description

The Accounting Intern - Financial Reporting is a paid, part time role, which will assist the financial reporting team with their day-to-day responsibilities to help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across a large portfolio of student housing properties. Interns will gain real world accounting experience working for the country's leading student housing developer.

Reports to: Accounting Supervisor - Financial Reporting

Duties/Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are an outline of the role's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.Review Financial Statements.Assist with audit requests.Assist with quarterly reporting.Prepare miscellaneous reports for internal and external use.Reconcile cash and equity transactions.Completion of special projects as assigned.Assist and learn from the accounting team.Education & Experience

Undergraduate students working toward an accounting degree.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Completed Intermediate AccountingExperience in ExcelWork Environment
