Heartland is expanding its services to provide urgent care needs for all women! We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team and help provide the best clinical care to the community!

This role will be based strictly in the office and will require working a flexible schedule. If you're seeking a role where you can build out a new office, are innovative, and looking to deliver the best clinical care this role is for you!

The Urgent Care will be open Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition and address their concernsAdminister or order diagnostic testsPerform routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, breast exams, and other screeningsProvide family planning services, including contraceptive counseling, prescribing and fitting contraceptives, and educating patients about reproductive healthProvide counseling and education on sexual and reproductive health, including STD prevention, fertility awareness, and preconception carePrescribe therapy or medication as needed and within clinical scopeInstruct and counsel patients about prescribed medications and health maintenanceDiagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnessesJob Requirements

Master of Science in degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Midwife Program required.Preferred 5+ years of experience in family medicine and women's healthCurrent state licensure in IllinoisCurrent BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care requiredDEA and CDS eligibleBenefits
