Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various machinery and tools in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate a press brake machine to bend, form, and shape sheet metal- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications of the parts- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards- Perform routine maintenance on equipment- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Experience- Previous experience operating press brake machines- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining, hand tools, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, lathes, sheet metal, tooling, stamping presses, milling machines, and cranes is a plus- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, reaching and bending is required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
