Skills:

Master's degree

in Business Administration.

Minimum 5 years' experience

as a Finance Business Partner including reporting, financial analysis, forecasting and performance monitoring.

Hard skills :

excellent corporate finance knowledge (financial analysis, PnL, cash flows and balance sheet);very good knowledge of accounting processes,advanced knowledge of Microsoft

Excel ;capacity to work with large sets of data;project accounting

knowledge is a plus;experience using

Anaplan

platform is a plus.Soft skills :

with ability to maintain

accuracy, but at the same time capacity to maintain a high-level understanding/view

Experience in

developing, monitoring and reporting corporate profitability

through the implementation of controlling processes:

developing : develop controlling capabilities for major variables in the P&L;monitoring : assess costs impacts of any managerial decisions and/or business evolutions;reporting : good quality

feedbacks , monthly variance analysis with

commentary

and

escalation

of material deviations as appropriate (different level of analysis is important: attention to details and high-level interpretation).Nb. must include understanding of the complete financial statements (PnL, balance sheet and cash flows statements).

Experience in

forecasting

(budgeting and business planning): major actor in the

financial planning processes , incl. ensuring consistency across the different sets of forecasts.

Knowledge of

accounting processes :

will closely work with the accounting department to

ensure completeness and accuracy of financial transactions . Ensure that the data collection processes are strictly adhered to i.e. payroll, materials and external costs.Key point of contact for

compliance audits

Key Accountabilities:

As a finance analyst of its scope of responsibility, this role will develop and monitor a controlling system and report financial performance

develop a report outlining the financial performance in the scope of responsibility, separated by business area on appropriate financial analysis / monthly tracking of P&Ldevelop required controlling tools to be able to measure business performancecreate appropriate metrics and report weekly/monthly, escalate main variations as appropriateDevelop appropriate forecasting tools (budgeting and business planning)

budgets, reforecasts and business planningsingle point of contact with the business unit in the forecasting processesCommunicate financials across different stakeholders

share reporting and planning analysis with management and executive teamsmake recommendations to improve financial management and performanceidentify and report the business risks and opportunities

A major requirement of this role will be to provide the full expected

financial support

and

analysis

to the departments as well as

advice regarding the best value for money options , triggering appropriate managerial decisions This includes risks and opportunities.

For this role, the required office attendance in Cobble Hill/Sommerville is at least 3 days per week.
