Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Day Shift. Monday - Friday position with start times between 8:00AM and 9:00AM. You will work 1 in every 6 Saturday's from 7:30AM - 1:30PM and you will be on call 1 in every 6 Saturday's. If working on Saturday, you will have one day off during the week and add 2 hours throughout the week. Flexible start time required based on operational need. You may be eligible for up to a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a

Phlebotomist

to:

Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.

Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.

Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing as needed.

Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system as needed.

Education:

Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation.

Work Experience:

Minimum -

Preferred - One (1) year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

Preferred - Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent

Eastpark Medical Center

- UW Health's new state-of-the-art ambulatory facility will transform the patient experience and offer cutting-edge proton therapy. This 469,000-square-foot ambulatory facility will house many specialties, including women's complex care, adult cancer care, advanced imaging and laboratory services and innovative clinical trials.
