Registered Nurse - Dialysis @ DCH Regional Medical Center

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Dialysis Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute dialysis experience required License: Must have appropriate license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, CCRN, CDN, CNNS preferred Must-Have: - Experience with Phoenix Machine- Proficiency in reading rhythms and identifying lethal rhythms- Experience with EMR systems; Meditech Expanse training provided during orientation- Personal stethoscope Job Description: - Provide acute hemodialysis in unit and bedside settings- Perform bedside peritoneal dialysis via cycler- Call is required: once during the weekday (every 1-2 weeks) with the following day off, and Sunday call for 12 hours (approximately every 4 weeks)- Work every other weekend- Handle a patient ratio of 1:3- Participation in orientation (16 hours)- Conduct care using specialized equipment such as the Phoenix machine- Ability to float within expertise and between campuses when necessary- Maintain professionalism under a strict attendance policy- First-time travelers accepted; charge nurse experience and telemetry skills preferred- Compliance with facility requirements is essentialPlease ensure that international education has been verified through World Education Services if applicable. Completion of virtual modules and proficiency in dysrhythmia are part of the orientation process.
