Quality Technician

with a focus on electrical to join out team in Salt Lake City, UT.

Education/Experience Requirements

Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.Two years of construction related experienceMinimum one year in quality control inspection disciplineICC, ACI and/or Nuclear Gauge certifications preferredHS Degree RequiredMust possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving recordEssential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned to meet business needs)

Quality Control

Participate in the development of project-specific Quality and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for mission-critical facilities focusing on the electrical scope.Assist in developing and administering Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.Perform daily inspections of all construction activities to ensure conformance with contract documents and mission-critical standards.Document daily observations through detailed reporting and photos.Verify that onsite received materials meet contract-specific and mission-critical requirements. Ensure materials are stored in compliance with contract documents.Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective procedures to maintain mission-critical standards.Support the company's strategic planning efforts related to mission-critical projects.Implement Quality Control Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for mission-critical systems.Perform control measuring and manage testing/sampling to ensure mission-critical compliance.Verify the installation of systems and materials in accordance with mission-critical standards and assigned disciplines.Collaborate with operations to produce task-specific quality management plans for mission-critical projects.Ensure that deficient items are reported, tracked, and corrected promptly.Maintain knowledge of International Building Code (IBC), SSTM Standards, ACI Standards, and mission-critical construction standards.Benefits
