We are seeking highly motivated Murex Senior Back Office Accounting Consultant based in the U.S to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client's Murex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Work hands-on with Murex on accounting configuration and testing to meet business requirements.Work on accounting for trade and position configurationAccounting configuration: Rules, Filters etc.Provide liquidation module supportTranslating these requirements into appropriate solutionsUpdate documentation covering functional / technical aspects of Murex platforms and business processesAssist on the testing approach and design of test cases.Training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of Murex Accounting / Finance experience in the capital markets industryMaster's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Finance, Business or AccountingKnowledge of accounting standards for treasury productsExperience in designing, implementing and challenging accounting schemas for bonds, swaps and other derivatives, as well as other financial instruments.Hands-on in effective yield amortizations for various type of bonds including floaters (term and RFR), inflations linked as well as other structured productsExposure to complete trade life cycleMust be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in clear, logical and concise mannerStrong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skills
