The Assistant General Manager role is an active one where youre on your feet, coordinating multiple team members, and problem-solving in real time.?The Assistant General Manager role is all about providing stellar leadership to our staff and exceptional service to our guests. As an Assistant General Manager, youll help with all aspects of your centers operations and floor management, assuming responsibility and running the show in the General Managers absence. Make no mistake: this is definitely NOT your typical job (spoiler alert: its way better).?ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Get a glimpse of all youll experience as an Assistant General ManagerGENERATE & MONITOR CENTER REVENUEHelp develop financial operational plans/budgets and monitor their performance to achieve your centers financial goals, including driving food & beverage sales. Partner with the General Manager to review and control labor costs and other expenses.BE AN OPERATIONAL PROFloor management is the name of the game; partner with the General Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of your center, scheduling, planning, organizing, and communicating effectively with your team.GROW & GUIDE YOUR TEAMRecruit, train, and support center management and staff. Foster high morale and provide developmental coaching to grow Bowleros future leadership team. Address any center-level HR or loss prevention issues as they arise.REVIEW CENTER PERFORMANCEManage multiple departments efficiently and conduct regular meetings with your management team to review performance and offer direction. With the General Manager, review profit & loss statements weekly/monthly and adjust your action plan accordingly.MAKE GUESTS PRIORITY #1Achieve and maintain overall guest service goals; ensure that customer complaints are resolved appropriately and that our guests are completely satisfied.DRIVE FOOD & BEVERAGE SALESOversee the management and expansion of your centers Food & Beverage program, partnering with the General Manager to ensure the highest quality standards and exceptional guest satisfaction in our dining offerings. Provide ongoing training and supervision to ensure consistent execution of corporate initiatives and standards, fostering a thriving sales culture.REMAIN FLEXIBLEAn ability to work varying shifts, from weekends to holidays, in addition to extended workdays as needed by your center.WHO YOU AREAs one of our Assistant General Managers, youre a customer service pro who knows what its like to work in a fast-paced environment and who thrives in that energy. Youre highly attuned to the guest experience, accountable for your performance (and that of the teams youll manage), and are a strong team player across the board.
