Senior Associate, Accountant (Hybrid)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for various Consolidation, Accounting, and Financial Reporting duties including but not limited to the creation of work plans, preparation of reports, analysis of data and metrics, presentation of findings, and the provision of administrative and project support. In addition to working autonomously, this position is differentiated from the Associate role through a demonstration of one or more of the following: subject matter expertise, ownership and accountability for complex processes, and the ability to work in a supervisory capacity leading, coaching, and training others. It is a mid- level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care.

Qualified candidates must live within driving distance to Pennsauken, NJ. This is a hybrid role that would require the candidate to work in-office once a week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates and communicates the core values of BAYADA Home Health Care and The BAYADA Way.Understands and maintains documentation on the company's organizational structure, financial status, and operational goals/objectives.Manage change over consolidated financial reports within WorkdayPrepare analysis and journal entries for Consolidated Financial Statements on quarterly basisPrepare external financial reports for bank partners and other third partiesSupport the preparation of materials for Finance Committee Meetings and other external communicationsDesign, Implement, and Operate controls over the consolidation and external financial reporting processDesign, Implement, and Operate controls over governance of company assetsSupport integration of new ventures and acquisitions into the company's Consolidated Financial StatementsResearch, document, and communicate complex accounting issues that arise from new ventures and acquisitionsPrepare analysis and perform procedures required for purchase accounting including any journal entries needed to accurately reflect new ventures and acquisitionsSupport the new venture/acquisition diligence process by gathering and providing deliverables requested by third partyDesign, maintain, and execute processes over the reporting of International Subsidiaries and InvestmentsAnalyze trends and identify new financial reporting and cash flow risks within International Subsidiaries and InvestmentsBuild Relationships with various accounting personnel of International Subsidiaries and InvestmentsAssist in the Design and Implementation of new procedures within grant and donation processesPrepare analysis and reporting for donation and grant receipt and usageSupport the completion of internal/external audits of financial informationMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliabilityBachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting. CPA, MBA, or CMA preferredTwo (2) to Five (5) years public accounting or related industry experiencePrior health care and home care experience is a plusPossesses effective project management skills including the ability to facilitate and organize.Demonstrates effective presentation skillsProficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) applications and ability to learn various software applications required to perform job functions.Strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of US GAAPAbility to research complex accounting standards and apply correctly to the company's financial statementsAbility to identify risks within the financial reporting process and design and implement effective controlsDemonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skillsSolid record of goal achievement and exceeding performance standardsAbility to work independently; be self-motivated, flexible, versatile and creative.Possess problem solving ability, leadership skills and be able to foster interpersonal relationships.Ability to manage multiple assignments and processesEmbraces the organization's entrepreneurial spirit through the recognition and capitalization of opportunities and a healthy challenge of the status quoAbility to read, write and effectively communicate in EnglishWHY CHOOSE BAYADA?:
