Responsibilities:Analyze financial data and prepare reports with insights, trends and recommended actions for managementWork with management to develop annual budget, five year plan and capital planBuild a financial forecast model based on analysis of past performance dataTrack data to determine actual performance versus forecast dataRoot cause analysis of core issues using dataAssist employees with financial questions and analysisAnalyze processes and implement improvementsReview accounting transactions for accuracyKeeps oneself up to date with the rest of the field by attending workshops and following publicationsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and/or FinanceCPA certification2+ years of experience working in a similar positionSound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, laws and regulationsExperience managing and analyzing large sets of dataProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially ExcelExperience with forecasting, budgeting, data analysis and interpretationBasic understanding of ERPExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills
