Quality Control Inspector.
This position allows you to apply your skills to a company that makes custom-fabricated material handling equipment. Our products are not "cookie-cutter" products. Each project requires imagination and determination. The successful candidate for this position must be able to make decisions on projects that are not only the best option for the client but most importantly the safest and most cost-effective solution for all parties involved.
Responsibilities and Duties
Detects non-conforming raw materials, work in process, and finished goods equipment and notifies the proper parties.Responsible for evaluating items against company-specified tolerances and acceptance criteria.Attend all production meetings to review the current status of work.Monitors work activities to avoid damage to the parts or inspection tools.Cross-train in other areas of the organization.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications and Skills
5 years of manufacturing experience responsible for inspection and evaluation of incoming raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals,Capable of performing at least one type of non-destructive examination.Ability to use jigs, and fixtures to perform inspections.Possess comprehensive knowledge of inspection tooling.Prepare and maintain quality control documentation.Benefits
