The role of the Vice President of Operations is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to the facilitys strategic plan. This includes acquiring resources and collaboration of team members to successfully coordinate assigned projects. As a member of the management team, you would participate in institutional planning, policy development, priority setting and management decisions. You will have full operational responsibilities for departments assigned by supervising executive.What you will do in this role:You will work with the Administrative Team to respond to Division and Group requests for market/facility informationYou will collaborate with the Administrative Team and physicians to enhance existing or develop new opportunities for processes or servicesYou will provide administrate and operations leadership to assigned departmentsYou will ensure the application of Customer Service principles in meeting and exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers to provide satisfactionYou will manage fiscal operations of assigned departments using the budget as a guideline for revenue and expense analysisYou will manager operations of assigned departments to achieve targets for designated Key Performance IndicatorsYou will be required to meet leadership obligations under the Ethics and Compliance ProgramYou will build strong relationships with physicians, employees, and peersYou will utilize HCA tools to help with management of responsibilities (PLUS, CERS, CAMS Projects, Lawson, etc.)You will perform other duties as assignedWhat qualifications you will need:Masters degree in Business Administration or Healthcare administration required2+ years of experience in a hospital leadership role preferredSituated in Portsmouth, NH, Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a premier 234-bed acute care facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the Seacoast region of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. This hospital is the sole ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, making it an essential resource for the community. It boasts the region's only comprehensive heart and vascular program, along with 24/7 comprehensive neurosurgical and stroke clot retrieval programs for both hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is owned by HCA Healthcare, a respected healthcare provider that runs three hospitals, an ambulatory surgery center, two freestanding emergency rooms, an urgent care center, and 46 physician practices in New Hampshire. HCA Healthcare has 2,600 colleagues and 554 physicians on staff, provides $15.8 million in uncompensated care, and pays $43.8 million in taxes annually.
