Our 2025 Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.
Key highlights of the program include:Mentorship program to support learning and development.Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees.Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals.Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team.Round table discussions on current events with macro and micro relevance to our business.Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm.Eligibility and Selection CriteriaTo be eligible for consideration students must be undergraduates currently in their junior year and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.PositionRockefeller Capital Managements Corporate Controller group within the firms Finance function is seeking a Summer Analyst to support the team. The Summer Analyst will support the Controller Organization, gaining exposure to all three businesses segments within Rockefeller Capital Management: Asset Management, Rockefeller Global Family Office, and Investment Banking. The Summer Analyst will work across the Finance Organization to gain an in depth understanding of the financial reporting process, from transactional inputs to the delivery of internal and external reporting.Responsibilities:Gain exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting software and SAP Concur Invoice and Expense payables softwareAssist in planning for month-end close using Monday.comPrepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense variance analysisCompile both internal and external reports for review by Sr. Finance membersAd-hoc projects as neededQualifications:
High school diplomaMust be enrolled as a rising senior student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, economics.Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel such as: pivot tables, v-lookups, index, match, etc.Ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present and report on information; Word, Access and PowerPoint a plusAbility to work well independently and as a part of a teamAbility to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations ariseDetail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlinesExcellent inter-personal skillsAbility to exercise discretion with confidential mattersStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to express ideas clearly and concisely
Compensation Range:The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35/hour.
