A social services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Queens. In this role, the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for patient care and oversight for approximately 100 children and youth who are treated with psychotropic medication in the agency's Foster Care program.

TheChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will:
Initiate and/or change psychotropic medication treatment for children/youth with a designated behavioral health diagnosis to ensure patient stabilization and response to treatmentComplete psychiatric evaluations for all children / youth newly enrolled in foster careProvide oversight to two contracted Nurse Practitioners via one hour weekly supervisionPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:
Graduate Degree in MedicineLicensed to practice in the State of New YorkBoard Certified inChild & Adolescent PsychiatrySolid assessment and documentation skillsDesired Skills:
