Trimmer Operator - Hardwood Lumber

American Hardwood Industries, a leading producer of hardwood products is seeking a Trimmer Operator for our Amissville, Virginia location. As a Trimmer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by operating machinery to trim and prepare hardwood lumber for shipment to our customers. Trimmer Operator

Responsibilities:

Operate trimming machinery to cut and shape hardwood lumber according to specifications and quality standards.Inspect lumber for defects, such as knots, cracks, and irregularities, and remove or trim them as necessary.Monitor machinery performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal cutting accuracy and efficiency.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols and procedures.Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support overall production operations.Trimmer Operator

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is preferred but not required.Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently, with attention to detail.Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.Trimmer Operator Pay & Benefits:
