Information: Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: Number of Beds: 6Patient Ratios (ESTIMATED): 3:1Unit staffing description: We will staff with a minimum of 2 NICU RN's per shift. We will have 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage along with 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist and anesthesiologist. Type of equipment : GE Bedside Monitors and GE beds (Giraffe and Panda Warmers), Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, Neomed and Medfusion Feeding/Medication pumpsDocumentation system: Meditech and CPNScheduling requirements: 3 - 12 hour Floating policy: As needed, to nursery Hospital Specifics: Certifications: Hiring profileRequested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) BLSNRPSTABLE2+ Years of Hosp/Specialty experience Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following: Care for infants requiring CPAP or VentilationExperience with Central LinesStabilization experience/attending deliveriesDevelopmental care Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) ACTIVE RN LICENSE - Temp license will not be accepted Procedures performed on unit: Assist with Line placement Assist with CircumcisionAssist with Intubation Patient Experience Required: Family centered care Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.Scrub ColorRN: Royal Blue Medical City Healthcare Scrubs (Purchased from Scrubs and Beyond)Nail Policy - Clean and Healthy, no nail polish, artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.Tattoos - Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individuallyPiercings - Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc. Other - No perfumes or lotionsUnit Guidelines/Policies: Floating Guidelines: Possibility to float to Newborn NurseryAttendance Policies: The company wide attendance policy will be followed.
