Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.Guest Satisfaction:
Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate hotel staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.Financial Performance:
Assist in managing the financial performance of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.Sales and Marketing:
Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and occupancy, collaborating with the sales team and utilizing effective pricing strategies.Training and Development:
Facilitate training programs for staff development, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and all relevant regulations.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.Hospitality Skills:
Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest services, and the ability to create a positive guest experience.Leadership:
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, guests, and corporate partners.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience/EducationCollege degree in Hotel Administration preferred; 2-3 years hotel management/supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Marriott background preferred.
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $60,000
