The Videographer is an integral part of the storytelling process and will be responsible for producing high quality video projects from concept development, to camera/audio/lighting direction, and post-production editing/delivery to be posted by our clients across every social platform. The Videographer is expected to coordinate with senior management and take ownership of video projects, capture activations/productions and edit (often immediately after) videos for social media, travel (sometimes with minimal notice), work weekends when needed, as well as coordinate across all departments of the business including Brand and Entertainment. This includes the ability to share ideas and also be open to ideas within the team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate, plan and execute production workflows and schedulesMust be able to adapt to ever changing requests, design edits and/or revisionsMust be able to take direction and produce an approved finished product in a timely mannerUtilizing Adobe Creative Suite, other nonlinear editing software, and production equipment to create advanced videos for social mediaProduce, shoot, lead and guide multiple original video projects from concept, pre-production, production, post production, and final deliveryPresent concepts with storyboards, moodboards, scripts, references and/or any other production design sample workBring unique, creative vision and strong editorial voice, and constantly work to identify new sources of content as well as new formats for storytellingResponsible for fact checking, licensing, research and art/video consistency for their respective projectsProduce the creative behind video including, but not limited to, creation of shot lists, interview questions, at times finding the right talentMaintain daily schedule to ensure timely delivery of each video, while working collaboratively within the ecosystem of Get EngagedAssist with maintenance and service of any department video production software and equipment as neededEnsure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtainedMust be highly motivated, work well under pressure and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignmentsEffectively and professionally collaborate and interact with team peers, clients, interdepartmental colleagues and high-level executivesMaintain awareness of new creative trends in video and digital media and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres and video production softwarePreferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of (including but not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite, mobile editing apps (splice, in-shot, etc.), and any associated plug-insPossess the technical knowledge, collaborative problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills necessary to translate abstract concepts into effective deliverablesA demonstrated ability to take ownership of projectsSupply web-links to completed work, demo reels or any other content, which validates their application and work experienceProficient in basic aspects with some knowledge of advanced video post-production including (but not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc) and any associated plug-insAbility to lead and influence large groups in high pressure environmentsProficient in ideating, crafting a narrative, capturing the moments and producing compelling final cutsExcellent organization and time management skillsSolid writing skills and proficient in Google (or Microsoft) Docs and SheetsAbility to work within strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPossess strong video production skills and a thorough, hands-on working knowledge of video and audio in a digital environmentWork proficiently with other video editors, graphic designers, account managers, and the client in order to collaborate and establish an effective workflow within the team environmentFlexible working hours including nights, weekends and holidays when neededA willingness to travel significantly with occasionally minimal notice (a valid passport is not required but encouraged)
