Job Summary

Financial Reporting AVPs help supervise a team's preparation of monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for mutual funds and ETFs in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements. AVPs:Are the primary contact for clients; respond proactively to internal and external client inquiriesManage the preparation of financial statements and review SEC filings (e.g. N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, N-1A, 24F-2)Are the primary owner of the annual audit processOversee preparation of quarterly Board reportsDemonstrate a solid understanding of mutual funds and financial marketsLead training sessions to increase the team's knowledgeCoordinate fund year-end tax reportingIdentify and/or implement process improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiencyOversee client reportingManage various projectsParticipate in committees and other department initiativesQualifications

Job Specifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience5-7 years accounting or reporting experience in the registered investment company or financial services industryPrior team lead or supervisory experience preferredAdvanced experience working with Microsoft Office applications required, especially ExcelAbility to demonstrate the following attributes consistently well:

Excellent time management and communication skillsOversee daily work completion in compliance with internal controls and procedures necessary to ensure quality productsProactively balance team resources and workflow requirementsWillingness to work outside of normal work hours when necessarily, especially during peak financial reporting cyclesConduct monthly coaching/feedback sessions with AnalystsEscalate issues timely and appropriately to senior managementDevelop/deliver executive summary reporting to senior management and clientsStrong technical writing skillsOversee projects effectivelyMotivated to continuous self-improvementAbility to promote a positive working environment and influence others to embody the Citi Culture

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$81,600.00 - $122,400.00
