Position Overview:

The Director ofWealth Advisory is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, andperformance of the Wealth Advisory teams in San Antonio and potentially newmarkets. This role ensures that the teams operate efficiently, maximizeprofitability via overseeing and inspiring business development, and minimizefiduciary risk to the bank. Additionally, the Director may act as a SeniorWealth Advisor/Trust Officer (WA/TO), managing high-value, complex, orsensitive client accounts that require specific expertise, including thoseinvolving litigation.

Essential Functions:Lead, manage, and provide strategic direction for all Wealth Advisory teams in San Antonio to achieve individual and team business development goals.Oversee the recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management of Wealth Management staff, aligning team efforts with the bank's vision and policies.Collaborate with other team leaders, including but not limited to the WM Associate Team Lead, to manage team environment, engagement, and creatively solve interpersonal staffing issues and affect change where appropriate.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert regarding trust administration matters, wealth and investment management accounts & business development, business entities, compliance matters and processes and procedures for the LOB and the bank.Possess a broad knowledge of financial services and products with a customer-centric vision.Promote the organization and enhance business development opportunities through participation in professional, community, and civic activities.As a Senior Leader of the LOB:

Assist in developing new and profitable relationships acrossall product and service teams.Developand maintain key relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) togenerate new business and increase the bank's market presence.Review and approve fee negotiations, ensuring adherence to established fee schedules, while maintaining fee discipline within the Wealth Management teams.Formulate and refine policies and procedures in collaboration with other Wealth Management leaders to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Interface with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and participate in annual exams, crafting responses to findings and overseeing corrective actions as needed.Collaborate with the Director of Wealth Management Operations and Private Banking leadership to create and execute strategies aimed at business growth and operational improvement.Lead efforts to draft and review marketing materials for Wealth Management, ensuring alignment with branding and communication strategies.Serve as a voting member ofOfficers Trust Committee, Officers Trust Investment Committee, and RiskManagement Committee.Oversee the implementation and enhancement of technology solutions within the Wealth Management division, coordinating with IT to address operational needs and troubleshooting.Present quarterly reports to the Directors Trust Committee on team performance, business development, and potential litigation matters.Monitor potential litigation risks associated with the Wealth Management division and provide strategic recommendations for mitigating risks and navigating litigation processes.As a potential Senior Wealth Advisor:

Proactively provide a full range of financial/banking services to customers through referrals to the appropriate specialists throughout the organization.Build loyalty and drive profitable revenue growth by applying key customer relationship management principles including:Actively managing a portfolio of targeted/high-value customers and/or segments of customers including performance of all compliance and internal administrative duties.Developing and executing targeted client retention and expansion activities (develop and secure new business from existing portfolio base).New customer acquisition activities, ensuring a more effective identification and cultivation of potentially high-value relationships.Working to ensure that a coordinated and consistent message reaches targeted customers across all delivery/servicing channels.This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.Experience & Education:

8+years of Wealth Management experience is required; 10+ years preferred.At least 5 years of managerial/leadership experience in Wealth Management or a related field is preferred.Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.Advanced certifications such as CFP, CWS, CFA, Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or equivalent experience are preferred.A Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred.Skills & Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple locations and align team efforts with broader organizational goals.Expertise in wealth management, trust administration, and fiduciary risk management, including knowledge of regulatory compliance and banking laws.Excellent strategic planning abilities, with a focus on maximizing team efficiency and profitability while managing risk.Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership, clients, COIs, and regulators.Solution-oriented sales skills, with the ability to coach and mentor direct reports in business development and client relationship management.Proficiency in managing high-value client relationships, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery and business development.Strong analytical skills and experience with reviewing and improving policies, procedures, and operational workflows within a wealth management environment.Experience with managing complex accounts, including those involving litigation, and providing expert guidance on risk management strategies.Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners to achieve strategic business objectives.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and wealth management accounting and customer relationship management (CRM) software.Other Requirements:

Ability to travel as needed to oversee teams across the bank's footprint and meet with clients.Strong commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on wealth management trends and regulations.Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.We're a culture that offers resources to benefit youroverall health and well-being:
