Ushur is currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join the Accounting/Finance team as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of hands-on accounting responsibilities with strong understanding of the application of GAAP and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have uncompromising attention to detail, a positive, proactive, team-focused attitude and strong sense of ownership. This role will report directly to the Controller and necessitates full-time in office presence three days per week.
Responsibilities
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue RecognitionReal-time processing journal entries, credit card reconciliationsAnalyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basisOversee all intercompany processes and reconciliationsPrepare and post consolidation entries, such as elimination, non-controlling interestAssist in preparing consolidated financial statementSupport month-end and year-end closing processLiaise and coordinate with external tax agents and auditors and maintain corporate tax filingsExperience with multitasking and dealing with ambiguityEnsure timely, complete & accurate reporting of accounting recordsEnsure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislationWork closely with international accounting teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and proceduresAssist in developing the forecasting models for various departmentsSupport other management team members including Sr. VP, Finance and Controllers with other special projects including yearly auditsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred7+ years of progressive accounting experienceExpert-level experience with Excel, financial modeling experience desirableAdvanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases such as QB Online, NetsuiteAttention to detail and ability to manipulate large amounts of dataDeadline oriented, organized, ability to multi-task ability in a fast-paced environmentTeam-player, positive attitude and flexibleExcellent verbal and written communication skills
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
The pay range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 plus bonus and equity. However, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
