Requirement : US Courts - Senior Financial Expert - Data Analytics & Budget Process

Job Description:

Forge is seeking a Consultant to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) Resources Management Division (RMD) by providing financial guidance and budgetary oversight for internal and external stakeholders, and providing statistical support to the Judicial Conferences with the management and execution Facilities and Security Office's (FSO) financial account while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and laws.

Key Responsibilities : Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):

Assess and assist with developing a tracking mechanism designed to monitor both internal and external requests for actions related to the RMD mission.Coordinate requests for actions related to the RMD mission with both internal and external stakeholders, FSO staff, and extended security partners, and assist in resolving issues.Assist RMD COR in developing products to minimize security risk.Assist with the collection, analysis, and development of metrics and strategic initiatives (performance/effectiveness) identified by the COR to help shape analytical data outputs.Req

uired Support:

Data Analytics:Design and develop automated data analytics dashboards to streamline financial reviews and increase oversight of the FSO budget processApply subject matter expertise in evaluating business operations and processes.Examine available information through quantitative and qualitative analysis.Identify areas where technical solutions would improve business performance.Judicial Security Committee Support:

Assist with refining the budget request process for external stakeholders.Assist the RMD COR with the preparation of supporting documentation for the Judicial Space and Security conferences.

Compliance and Strategic Planning:

Assist the RMD COR with strategic planning, establishing internal controls, and developing compliance standards for AOUSC offices and external partners.Work with FSO program offices to streamline the financial request and review process for internal and external partners.Develop Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Quick Reference Guides (QRG) for budget requests, invoice processing and management, and use of any established databases.Consult on the development and enhancement of the existing AO programs.Assisted in drafting and revising policies and offering recommendations. The recommended drafts and/or revisions to the policies shall be consistent with, and complimentary to, guidance and policies from the AO, Judiciary, and partner agency SOPs Policies and Guidelines.

Administrative Support:

Support RMD Team, as needed or as directed by the COR.Take meeting minutes and provide data and statistical analysis, as directed.Prepare correspondence, reports, or other documentation as requested by the COR, which is suitable for submission to various levels of management.

Documentation and Record-keeping

Create and maintain a dashboard for tracking invoices from receipt to payment for FSO programs.Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as directedCreate SOPs as applicable utilizing AO, Judiciary, and partner agency SOPs Policies and Guidelines.Assist in creating quick reference guides.

Minimum Qualifications:

US CitizenBachelor's (4-year) degree.Nine (9) years of relevant professional work experience.Experience in crafting and delivering briefings to senior personnel for use in critical decision-making.Demonstratively skillful in the development of training aids and developing criteria for training.Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and reporting.Able to work independently and perform tasks with minimal direction.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Word, Publisher, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with and experience using financial dashboard applications.Highly Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree or higherA working knowledge of the MS Power BI platform.Job:

Full-time; This position is contingent on the award of a contract and grant of funding.
