Job Description

As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for orientating guests to the spa facilities, greeting guests as they enter the facilities, and providing personal guest service. Currently we seek a Spa Attendant with excellent customer service skills and luxury spa experience to work in a fast-paced spa environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Friday, Saturday, Sundays, and holidays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure smooth flow of spa operations by reviewing daily treatment schedules and preparing/maintaining guest areas and supporting the service provider team to meet our standards and protocolsWork safely and create a safe environment for users of the spa facilitiesGreet guests in accordance of spa standardsStock lockers with robe, slippers, and towel and maintain guest locker assignmentsPrepare an adequate supply of cold towels and serve them as directedReport any defects in linen/towels/equipment to Spa ManagerReport accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to managerComplete safety training and certificationsHandle all cleaning materials per departmental safety standards and use them per the manufacturer's instructionsStrictly monitor all areas throughout the day and complete the daily cleaning schedulePrepare professional body care products, set up sauna rooms, and prepare baths as needed.Keep indoor and outdoor spa areas tidy by removing towels, cups and dishes and restockingConsistently re-stock amenities in locker rooms, food and beverage station, and supplies for service providersAssist in daily preparations for advance bookingsEnsure all guests and members receive the highest level of personalized experienceTransport linen carts and replenish new linenAt all times, be flexible, courteous, resourceful, and cheerfulMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.Maintain a high personal appearance and hygiene standard per the hotel's grooming standards.Attend all departmental and general meetings and briefingsAll other duties as required and assigned by spa leadershipQualifications

Flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry a moderate amount of weightAbility to stand and walk distances for long periods of timeAbility to work in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment with an outgoing team within a large department.Possess excellent communication style.Have a "heart for hospitality" personality.Knowledge of Book 4 Time is an assetRequired to speak, read, write in EnglishCalifornia RBS CertificationCalifornia Food Handler's CertificationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, personal care industry or pool service position in a luxury resort environment.CPR Certification

This position starts at $19.57/hour.
